So Oppo, what are your 3 favorite car colors?

Mine are:

1. Silver: I love silver cars, specially silver German cars.

2. Grabber blue, like on the GT500.

3. Midnight Purple, as on this GT-R

Also a fan of grabber-esque blues, more recently favoring this Protonic Blue.

And any sort of vibrant orange.

Black - Favorite is Black Diamond Tricoat on Cadillacs.

Blue - Favorite is Arrival Blue Metallic on older Chevy trucks.

Red - No real Favorite, but the red on the 2015 Charger looks great.

Nobody in my city seems to like the Orange Subaru XV. A dealership had an unsold XV for like 6 months because of the color. They ended up dropping the price like 3k USD because they couldn't sell it because of the color.

Well, it is an aquired taste I guess. I've gotten a few compliments about my Orange XV, although my wife and mother hate it. My mom calls it "The Great Pumpkin".

The best colors, in no particular order, are royal or dark blue (but not metallic powder blue—blech), purple, green, maroon, red, and dark gray.

Here are my least favorite car colors:

1. Silver. Fuck silver cars. Silver is boring. Everybody gets silver. I will never, ever, EVER buy a silver car.

2. Yellow. It's impossible to not look obnoxious behind the wheel of a yellow car.

3. Tan/beige/gold. Sorry, it's not 1983 anymore.

4. Teal. Sorry, it's not 1993 anymore.

5. Orange. It's impossible to take an orange car seriously. But at least you didn't get yellow.

6. White. Most cars just look cheaper when they're white. Nice washing machine you're driving there. There are some exceptions, but for the most part, white sucks.

7. Black. Looks great, but impossible to keep clean. I never thought I'd get a black car, until I got my current black 135is. I liked the car, it was rare, had the exact options I wanted, and was just sitting on my local BMW dealer's lot. At least it's Carbon Black, which is metallic with some blue flake in it. Still a bitch to keep clean.

#1 Miura Green

It manages to be very very green with out being pea soup colored, and ever so slightly dainty so that its not to in your face. I love it.

#2 Grabber Orange.

No other color makes black accents look so good. A little bit of yellow pearlecense pushes it over the top.

#3 This green on my dads brand new f-250.

Red just looks good on cars.

Black is sleek and looks great when clean.

And blue is my favorite color.

Anything subtle, not too in your face that isn't white, silver or black like this green for instance:

And yes green is my favourite colour.

While I'd ordinarily say Black, Black, and Black, I realize I do love certain colors, but typically only on certain cars.

Grabber Blue on the recent Mustangs

Lapis Blue on a 911

BRG on a Jaaaaaaaag

Honorable mention goes to orange (which is my favorite color in general) as most cars that come in orange hues look pretty good in them.

For everything else, there's black for cars.

Hey hawaiian orchid! My second car, the first I picked out and bought with my own money, was a 96 Cavalier in that color (I was specifically looking for a purple car). The dumb salesman pronounced the CH in 'orchid' like the CH in 'chair'.
